Happy 1 Month Lily!

Happy 1 Month Lily!  We cannot believe that it’s been a month ago that this precious angel of ours warmed our hearts with her arrival!  She’s changed and grown so much since then, and we can already see she’s developing quite a personality!  Her neck is getting incredibly stronger each day, she eats and sleeps pretty much on a reliable schedule, and we just grow more and more in love with every passing minute!  She’s getting more alert and staying awake longer these days, she’s really good at tracking now.  She’ll still beat out anyone who challenges her to a staring contest though!  She’s starting to eat up to 120 cc (4 fluid ounces) of formula at least once a day, and the rest usually around 90 cc (3 fluid ounces).  She sleeps on average 3 hrs at a time, and at least up to 4 hrs once a day!  What a good eater and sleeper she is, just like her daddy!  She’s filling out quite nicely and I just love her chubby cheeks!  Here are some cute pictures taken today, by her mommy (me!), in her cute 1 month party dress that she will be wearing next week too for her 1 month party after her baptism!  Enjoy!

Here is Lily’s Birth announcement that I finally made!  The top picture if you recall is a photo from when she was 2 weeks old and the bottom two were when she was 1 week old!  Amazing how time flies and how much she’s already grown and changed in just 1 month!

Lily’s 1st 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July, Lily’s first holiday!  I bought Lily this awesome little 4th of July dress to get into the spirit of this holiday! Doesn’t she look super cute???  Don’t worry, in the picture below, she was only sitting around the fireworks for a minute and then we washed her hands right after!  The fireworks never got to be played with, but they will be enjoyed by us next year!

This year we celebrated America’s 236th Independence Day by ordering delivering from Dominos.  I got chicken kickers and Khoa their special Memphis BBQ Thin Crust pizza.  We then watched Pretty Woman on DVD since I never watched that movie before and I wanted to watch something classic!  We had dinner with Jennifer at Kicking Crab, our second time out with Lily for dinner and it was quite a success!  Then that night we watched the Disneyland fireworks from our bedroom window and then watch the Fireworks Spectacular on NBC that was broadcasted in New York!  It was a very relaxing 4th of July, and I can’t wait for her to actually play with the dangerous explosives next year! =)
