Lily Starts Playing with Her Jumper!

It’s just another Wednesday morning and I just love waking up to this face! Lily (15 weeks 5 days) really likes to grab her foot these days, can’t you tell?? =) Lily’s also getting really good at tummy time, she’s so strong, but Luna doesn’t seem so impressed haha.Khoa just put together her jumper that we got from Cau Tuan and Mo Thien from our baby shower, and even though she can’t quite reach the floor yet, she’s about an inch away, she seems to love the jumper! Check it out for yourself!! =)

Lily’s 100 Days!

Happy 100 days our precious Lily pad!! I guess you can say I’m a number’s person, so therefore something like being 100 days old would be somewhat important to me!  So on September 15, 2012, we celebrated Lily’s 100 days old!!! Lily, you fill our hearts with more love than we can ever imagine and we can’t wait to see what else you have in store for us! We love seeing you grow each day and you make us truly feel like the luckiest parents in the world. I know we’ve said that millions of times already, but it’s so true!

To celebrate, we went to San Juan Capistrano and visited the San Juan Capistrano Mission. It’s a beautiful place but it was so scorching hot (over 106 degrees) that it was very hard to enjoy the pretty scenery. Lily was not enjoying the heat either and she was really tired. When we did have a chance to go inside the cool air conditioned exhibit rooms, she perked up and we managed to capture her smile at those times! It was a really fun day, despite the heat, and we can’t wait to celebrate more milestones!

Here is a collage I made of Lily! On the left side are 99 photos, one from each day of her life since birth up to her 100th day on the right! It was quite a task to find a photo for each day, but I’m glad I was able to accomplish it thanks to the help of Khoa’s mom, Jennifer, and Khoa! It’s so fun to see how her face changes each day, and looking back at the pictures, I can’t believe how tiny she use to be!! Happy 100 days Lily, we love you so much!!!

You can view more pictures from our day here!

Enjoy this video of Lily (14 weeks 4 days) amusing herself with her toy octopus that Bi-Ying and Joey gave her! She makes the cutest noises!!

Also, special shout out to my daddy, Lily’s Ong Ngoai (Grandpa), because it is his 60th birthday! He is also a water dragon just like lily, double dragons!! He is the best daddy in the whole wide world!!! Here’s to 60 more years daddy, we love you!!! For more pictures of his cake, you can visit Sweet Dreams Bakery.

Lily’s 3 Month Milestone!

Lily (3 months 4 days) did her first full on mini push up today!! I was so happy the camera was nearby to capture this moment. I’m SOOOOO proud of my lily pad!! I cannot believe how strong she is, it’s just so amazing and exciting to see her accomplish these milestones! Keep it up my precious baby!

Lily (3 months 3 days) holds her toy froggie rattle (thank you Alvina!) and learns to play with it! She’s always had the innate ability to hold on and clench her hand into a fist, and she likes to hold onto her blanket and put it to her mouth recently, or hold onto her bib or clothes, but this is the first time we handed her a toy and she actually grabbed it and played it it!! Good job Lily!!! We’re so proud of you!!

Happy 3 Months Lily!

Happy 3 month old Lily!!! I can’t believe our precious angel is officially no longer a newborn!! =(  Lily is about 12.4 pounds and she stretches about 22 inches!  Our baby never ceases to amaze me everyday.  She sleeps about 11-12 hours a night and she’s eating about 5 ounces (once or twice she’ll eat 4 ounces) at each feeding.  She is so alert and loves to watch and observe her surroundings and she’s getting so good at playing with her adventure gym!  She can grab the toys and wiggle them around!  She has a crazy ninja grip and likes to grab onto my hair a lot, and she smiles so much!  She likes to coo gibberish a lot now and tell us her stories about her dreams (I think) haha.  Today we went to get her hands and foot prints made into cute little ornaments!  This lady is super friendly and was referred to us by Hoag, her name is Sarah Martin and you can find her information at footprintsnmore.com!  She is super pro at this and the prints come out amazingly awesome!!  It’s such a great keepsake that’ll last us forever, she’ll never be this small again, so it will be timeless!  We received a coupon from Hoag for a free foot print ornament, but we ended up getting both hand and foot print ornament, a heart hand and foot prints plague, and a “remove shoes please” plague as well!  They’re so cute!  It takes 6-8 weeks for them to be ready for pick up, so we will post pictures of them once we get them!!  We will definitely come back for more as she grows older and come back when we have the next baby =).  Lily’s personality is developing so much and so far, she’s still a pretty calm baby and we count our lucky stars everyday that she is so wonderful!  She is so happy and is chuckling a little more but still not the full on laugh yet (can’t wait for that day!).  She started learning Baby Signing earlier this week as well!  I can’t believe how time is flying by.  Happy 3 months my Lily pad, you warm my heart every day!!  XOXO!!

Lily Videos Galore!

The past few days we have been taking a lot of video clips of Lily, so here are some of them for everyone to enjoy! I can’t get enough of our little cutie pie!!

Lily (12 weeks old) really like to her her hand these days! Doesn’t she make it look tasty? Lily can you share? =P

Lily (12 weeks old) likes to make noises a lot more now and here’s a clip of her telling us a story about a crazy dream she had…or was a story about her and Luna’s adventures? Who knows, enjoy this clip anyways =D.

Lily (12 weeks old) loves to play now and it melts my heart every time I am able to make her laugh and smile! She’s starting to laugh a little more, but her smile is getting bigger and more frequent these days! Enjoy this video of Lily and me playing!

Lily (11 weeks 6 days) practices her tummy time almost everyday, and although she struggles with it, she really is getting a very strong neck with each practice! Here’s one of her practice sessions, you can really see her trying and then poops out at the end haha! Good job baby, don’t give up, you can do it!!

Lily (11 weeks 6 days old) really loves her ocean adventure gym, and now she’s actually playing with the toys with her hands! Before she would just lay there and swing her arms at her side and kick with excitement, but now she actually uses her hands to play with the toys. She’s so much more alert, it’s amazing to see her development! She’s so cute, she’ll play by herself for 30+ mins, she’s so good!

Lily (11 weeks 1 day old) was serenaded by her daddy (Khoa), and it’s so precious to see her smile and enjoy his singing! He was singing a song by Jason Mraz called Rescue. You can see halfway through the video she’s just mesmerized by her daddy’s beautiful voice! She’s so sweet!!

Lastly, enjoy these pictures of our Lily pad!! How time flies! Our precious Lily is smiling so much more, and I love all these pictures of our happy baby!
